Habiba Assalé, a young Cameroonian in her twenties, was detained for 18 months in a prison by Boko Haram, in the heart of the Sambisa forest.
Kidnapped during a raid of the Islamic sect in Cameroonian territory 18 months ago, the young lady who abandoned a baby of 2-year old, was kept in a prison where women are forced to marry their tormentors, she revealed.
Habiba Assalé, said to have benefited from an incursion of the Nigerian army in this Islamist stronghold, to escape her tormentors.
She was found by members of the vigilante committee 40 km from Mokolo, in the Mayo-Tsanaga division, Far North Region.
